In the Quran, it is written: "The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills." (Quran 2:261) This verse encapsulates the essence of giving in charity – a fundamental tenet of our faith that transcends all barriers.

 

Our belief is further echoed in the Bible: "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be poured into your lap." (Luke 6:38) and in the Torah: "If among you, one of your brothers should become poor, in any of your towns within your land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother." (Deuteronomy 15:7)
